Volunteer
Trial Lawyers Care (TLC)
AAJ encourages and highlights trial attorneys' volunteer and charitable activities through its Trial Lawyers Care (TLC) committee. TLC members participate in community service projects at the AAJ Annual and Winter Conventions, organize disaster relief inititiatves across the country, and share information about opportunities for trial lawyers to give back.
Do you have a volunteer opportunity that you would like to share? Send an email to tlc@justice.org.
AAJ Voter Protection Action Committee (VPAC)
In 2012, over 1,000 AAJ members across the country volunteered with AAJ's VPAC campaign to protect the right to vote. This year, we are organizing lawyers, paralegals, and law students around the country to volunteer at polling places, work in call centers, and join election protection legal teams on Election Day. Interested in volunteering? Email outreach@justice.org.

Convention Service Projects
AAJ’s membership caucuses organize a public service project at both the Annual and Winter Conventions. AAJ members have helped build new homes, collect and sort baby products, clean and restore parks and public spaces, and much more to give back to the cities AAJ visits for convention.
If you are interested in signing up, please contact membership@justice.org.
End Distracted Driving
Hundreds of lawyers across North America are volunteering in their communities and making presentations at their local high schools to inform teens about simple steps drivers and passengers can make immediately to help end distracted driving.
These attorneys are sharing an informative and inspiring presentation that was developed by a trial lawyer whose daughter was killed by a distracted driver. Together, they’ve reached more than 200,000 students and community members. To learn more please go to www.EndDD.org.
